Dr. No in Comics — continued?

Rani Comics #19 - Dr. No

While looking through the statistics of Mister8.com recently, I came across a page written in Tamil that linked to one of our Dr. No in comics posts. I can’t read Tamil, sadly, but it appears as though there are a few items they discuss there that we hadn’t even heard of here at Mister8, including the amazing looking version of Dr. No for Rani Comics seen at left.

hi,

Brief points from the post and also some of my points:

a) DR No daily express new paper which was published from 1983 was reprinted in Rani comics
b) the tamil translation was released in 1984
c) there were around 30 – 40 james bond stories published (Some are fake also)
d) There were a second comics which also featured DR,no but i dont know the correct name of the novel/story

One more point, James bond translations were toned for Indian culture specific. Also pictures were made more modest and appropriate for indian specific.
